When I do open houses, I leave an opinion forum which gives me feedback on what buyers think of the home, the condition, price, area, what they like most/least about the home, etc. This gives me an idea of what adjustments I may want to do and also tells me how well the home is showing. Cameron (Marketing Specialist) and I then go over the results from are multiple marketing techniques and what potential buyers have been saying about their home. This is where the title comes in (Don’t take it to Heart). Sometimes there are negative comments about the homeowner’s home. They usually take every comment personally, I mean face it, if someone walked into your home right now and said “Ewww I hate this carpet.” You would probably tell them to leave your home, right? But as my husband always explains, when they say anything about your home, it is not to disrespect, hurt, or offend you in any type of way, they are simply voicing their personal opinion. Let me ask you right now, would you rather have an Iphone with AT&T or the Droid from Verizon? So you see, some people like this, some people like that, but at the end of the day, eventually, someone will want your home. So the next time someone disagrees with your style, just say to yourself… “Your lost” and know that as long as you have a Expert realtor in your pocket. Your home will SELL!!!
