Laser quest, Potomac nationals pro baseball, prince William ice center, Lake Ridge Park Golf & Marina
Looking to find some fun places in Woodbridge, VA to take the kids or just to go out and do with some friends? I have a few places you'll want to keep in the front of your mind!
I'll first start by telling you one of my favorite places to go with my husband. We love to go to Laser Quest! Laser Quest is a great place to go to enjoy a few games of laser tag. My husband and I love to play one another one on one, and I have to add that I always win…shhhh don't tell him I said that! If you go, don't think that you have to play a one on one game, you can play in multiple groups, or players against players up to 30 players at once! Kids starting at age 5 are able to play laser tag, but if you have kids that are younger or it's your kids first time playing you may want to go in and play with them; it's pretty dark in the laser room. Laser Quest also has party rooms for your enjoyment or perhaps celebrate your kid's birthday! While waiting to play your game of laser tag, there are multiple arcade games in the waiting area to play; my husband and I usually stick to the air hockey, and he beats me every time! So put on your comfy shoes and get ready to play!

The second place I would like to tell you about is the Prince William Ice Center. The Prince William Ice Center is open year round and provides a premier facility for all your skating and hockey needs! My husband and I actually went Ice Skating for the first time and saw our first live Ice Hockey game at Prince William Ice Center and it was one of the BEST times we have ever had!!! You can relax and just Freestyle skate or if you're looking to up your skills you can take lessons; which are for all ages. You can also join programs for figure skating and ice hockey. When you get hungry stop by the Café that offers snacks, meals and catering for parties, business meetings, and team meetings. If you're looking to cool it down and stand on two blades, the Prince William Ice Center is the place to go! I must add that the Prince William Ice Center colapsed under heavy snow in Feb, 2010. But they hope to have the facility reopened winter 2010.

Thirdly, I would like to tell you about the Lake Ridge Park Golf & Marina; commonly referred to as the Lake Ridge Park. The Lake Ridge Park offers boating, BBQ grills, play grounds, and golfing.
- As for boating at the Marina, you can bring your own boat (can't be more than 10 hp) or you can rent a canoe/kayak. The Marina offers concessions, bait, and safety equipment; so all you need to bring is your love for the water!
- For all the golfers out there the golf course is along the Occoquan River and is beautiful but yet challenging. It's Par-3, 9-hole golf course that offers bent grass greens and tees in a relaxing, wooded park setting. The golf course will challenge the beginning golfer, with distances from tee to the green ranging from 60 to 175 yards.
For all parents who want to take the kids to the park and do a little grilling, Lake Ridge Park is for you. Lake Ridge Park has a BBQ directly across from the playground area where you're can kids can play while you grill with them still in site!
So if you're looking to go Golfing, Boating or looking to head to the Park the Lake Ridge Park Golf & Marina is where you should be headed!

Last, I would like to tell you about the Potomac Nationals Baseball. The Potomac Nationals are a Minor League Baseball team, that play in the Class A Advanced Carolina League, and are an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The Potomac Nationals offer camp for boys and girls ages 8-14. The camp is a great opportunity for kids who want to learn to play or want to get better. When you're a member of the camp you receive perks such as group instructions from Potomac Nationals players and coaches, Advanced skills games, Daily lunch, Autograph opportunities, a camp T-shirt, and 2 tickets to the Potomac Nationals game. If you're looking to watch the great game of Baseball or if you're looking to enroll your kids in camp the Potomac Nationals is what you want to keep in mind.
