Woodbridge Chinn Park Regional Library

The Chinn Park Regional Library; commonly referred to as the Chinn Library was the first regional library to be built in Prince William County. The Chinn Library was actually named after Mary Jane and her family for their contributions to Prince William County community. Mary Jane Chinn & Tom Chinn were slaves who, after emancipation, purchased several hundred acres along what was formerly Davis Ford & Telegraph Roads in Woodbridge, VA. Just a little history lesson...Anyways, the Chinn Library is 25,000 square feet and contains over 211,347 books! The Chinn Library has services for children, young adult's and adult programs, plus a Quiet Study room, two individual study rooms, a prominent information desk, a shop run by Friends of the Library and a special service called MAGIC. It's usually quiet and all of the staff is always extremely helpful. So if you're looking to gain some more knowledge or just want to quiet place to read, then check out the Chinn Park Regional Library. Please feel free to visit the Chinn Park Regional Library located at the intersections of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road or give them a call at 703-792-4800.
