As Octobor gets closer only one word comes to my mind HALLOWEEN! I remember when I was just a kid and every year around Halloween time I would get overly excited when my parents would say “let’s go pick out your custom!” I always wanted to be the witch with the big hair and long ugly nose! Everyone would always say you’re a little girl you don’t want to be a princess? And I would say “nope” because that wasn’t me. I enjoyed dressing up scary and running around saying “hehehe I’m the wicked witch from the south” Just like the which in the Wizard of Oz. I was always the first to run up to the spooky houses with the spiders, bats, and cob webs everywhere. Other kids wouldn’t move an inch without cringing onto their parent’s hand when they saw those scary houses. But to me those homes were always the most fun, after all the spirit of Halloween is all about a good scare!
So, you can trust me when I say I know that everyone has their own way of wanting to dress up and celebrate Halloween! I know I did. For some, like me it’s all about the scare and for others it’s all about picking out the pumpkin and not getting too scared. That’s why I have found multiple things to do this Halloween in VA and Washington, DC so that you can pick what’s right for you and your family! And I even found a few things for just the adults to do! So go ahead and look below and see what you can find!
