Why You Shouldn’t Look for a Home!!!

Searching for a home is one of the biggest mistakes buyers make. Now, I know your thinking well I can just drive around and look for homes in the area I want to buy a house in and see if any FOR SALE signs are up or I can just search on the internet…Right? That's sooo wrong!
When you drive around looking for a home you waste a lot of time and gas. Why? Because number one; you have NO CLUE if your even going to find a home that's for sale in the area your driving around in. Number two; some sellers don't want a for sale sign in their yard so you would have no clue if the home was for sale anyway. And number three; some agents leave for sale signs up in yards even when the property is no longer available to draw in leads; people like you who are driving around and calling the number on the sign.
Ok, so I answered why driving around is crazy and a waste of time. But why not look around on the internet? Well let me be honest with you. Homes on the internet are not updated. You can see a home on the internet that says its available but in reality it sold 3 months ago! So you're really wasting time and getting frustrated over looking at homes on the internet that you can't even purchase because they aren't even available anymore. Why would anyone want to waste time like that?!?!
Also, if you're not pre-approved looking for a home is a big waste of time. Why? Because you don't even know if you can get approved for a mortgage loan and you don't know how much you can spend on a home. That means you're looking around for a home and you don't even know what price range you should be looking around in. If that's not a waste of time, tell me what is?!?!
So how can you fix these problems?
I have just that answer for you! Get a Realtor! A Realtor has access to a very sophisticated system that we call the MLS. This system allows us to see what homes are TRULY available. For the homes that I told you a seller may not have a for sale sign up, they will still pop up in our system letting us know that they are for sale, but do not have a sign in the yard. Also for the homes that really aren't available anymore but the agent still has the for sale sign up, our system will let us know that these homes are under contract and are no longer available. Your Realtor, can sit down with you, find out exactly what you are looking for, put your criteria in the MLS system and find homes for you. Then you can go through the homes with your Realtor and decide which ones you want to view. Your Realtor can also refer you to a professional Mortgage Office to get you pre-approved for a loan. So really, that means while you're sitting at home drinking a nice hot cup of coffee, you can have a professional looking for homes for you that meet what you are looking for and are in your price range.
Now I KNOW that sounds much better then you doing all the work, wasting time and getting frustrated, RIGHT? Of course it does! So don't look for your dream home alone…Get a Realtor!
